REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Vertical Zone is committed to creating a fun, fitness experience while learning the fundamentals of trampoline. We offer several entry points into our recreation programs year round. Fall (September entry), Winter (January entry) and Spring (April entry) offer a full schedule of classes on weekdays and weekends, while our Summer session offers modified schedule on 2 weeknights (no weekends).

Vertical Zone Registration Loyalty Program

Vertical Zone values current members and recognizes their loyalty by allowing registrants in the current session to pre-register for the next session before opening to new members.

Discounts

  • 10% discount is offered to athletes taking 2 or more programs in the same session (same athlete)
  • 5% sibling discount off the lowest price for recreational programs and camps.
  • Classes are pro-rated in the session for registrations after the session has begun.

Refunds and Changes

  • WITHDRAWAL BEFORE THE SESSION STARTS: refund* less 10% Uplifter cancellation fee for classes when cancelled a minimum of 7 days prior to 1st class; OR credit** on account for full amount paid (without the Uplifter fee). 
  • WITHDRAWAL WITHIN 1 WEEK TO START OF CLASS: Withdrawal/refund requests submitted up to 6 days before the start of class are eligible for a partial refund*, deducting the cost of one class and less 10% Uplifter cancellation fee OR credit** on the account (without the Uplifter fee). 
  • WITHDRAWAL AFTER THE 1st CLASS: refund* less 10% Uplifter cancellation fee per registration, for remaining classes; OR full credit** for remaining classes. 
  • WITHDRAWAL AFTER THE 2nd CLASS:  
  • Withdrawal for personal/ Non-VZ related reasons (e.g. injuries or illness sustained outside of VZ): refund* less 10% Uplifter fee, or credit for remaining classes ONLY IF Vertical Zone is able to fill your athlete(s) spot. In this case, refund/credit will equal the number of classes that were filled. 
  • Withdrawal due to an injury sustained at Vertical Zone: refund* less 10% Uplifter fee or credit** will be applied that equals the number of lessons left in the session for which the athlete was unable to attend, due to injury sustained at Vertical Zone. This injury must be immediately reported to and treated by the coach, so a Sport Injury Report can be submitted to Gymnastics Ontario within 48 hrs of the injury. 
  • WITHDRAWAL DUE TO BEHAVIOURAL DIFFICULTIES (#4 on page 1): Refund* less 10% Uplifter fee for remaining classes at any point during the session. 
  • Class changes can be made free of charge when space permits.

* GO fee is non-refundable, once GO registration has been completed by Vertical Zone (within the first week of classes starting). This fee is paid directly to Gymnastics Ontario and Gymnastics Ontario has a non-refundable policy on these fees.  

**Credits can be used for all Vertical Zone Programming and offerings; such as, classes, Pay As You Go jumping, spirit wear, birthday party/group bookings and camps. There are no service charges when choosing a credit, since VZ does not incur Uplifter service fees. 

Selecting a class

All classes are designed with specific ages and experience in mind.  Ages and required experience are explained in the class descriptions.  Please ensure that you are registering your child in the correct age/level class to ensure they are going to be receiving the best instruction possible. All athletes must be the correct age for the selected class within 30 days of the start of the session.

How to Register

The best way to register is online during the advertised open registration dates.  Online registration requires credit card full payment. Registrations are also accepted over the phone during office hours.  Accepted payments are eTransfer, cash, cheque, debit or credit card (no American Express).

If your chosen class is not available, you may put your child on a wait list.  Registrations that occur after the start date are automatically pro-rated for classes missed.

Classes fill up very quickly, please register early!!

*Vertical Zone is not responsible for availability or eligibility of any third-party funding agencies. Registrations cannot be held without payment in full. All registrations, regardless of funding source are subject to Vertical Zone’s refund policy.

RECREATIONAL

Parent and Tot
(1.5 - 3 year olds)

This 50 minute structured class uses games and play based learning to create a fun filled program with a parent/guardian there to assist.

3-4 Year Olds

This 50 minute co-ed class is designed for athletes ages 3 and 4 years old to develop their skills in Trampoline gymnastics, using GO Ninja obstacles and elements.

5-6 Year Olds

This 50 minute co-ed class is designed for athletes ages 5 and 6 years old to develop their skills in Trampoline Gymnastics. Obstacle courses and floor-based acrobatic skills are incorporated into classes to build strength and coordination.

Beginner/ Intermediate
7-9 Year Olds

This 50 minute co-ed class is designed for athletes ages 7 to 9 years old to develop their skills in Trampoline Gymnastics. Obstacle courses and floor-based acrobatic skills are incorporated into classes to build strength and coordination.

Beginner/ Intermediate
10-12 years old

This 50 minute co-ed class is designed for athletes ages 10 to 12 years old to develop their skills in Trampoline Gymnastics. Obstacle courses and floor-based acrobatic skills are incorporated into classes to build strength and coordination.

Beginner/ Intermediate
13-15 years old

This 50 minute co-ed class is designed for athletes ages 13 to 15 years and over to develop their skills in Trampoline Gymnastics. Floor-based acrobatic skills and conditioning are incorporated into classes to build strength and coordination.

Beginner Intermediate
16 Years +

This 50 minute co-ed class is designed for athletes ages 16 years and over to develop their skills in Trampoline Gymnastics. Floor-based acrobatic skills and conditioning are incorporated into classes to build strength and coordination.

Advanced Rec

This 80 minute co-ed class is designed for athletes ages 7+ to develop advanced skills in Trampoline Gymnastics. Floor-based acrobatic skills and conditioning are incorporated into classes to build strength and coordination.

Elite (Coach Recommendation Required)

This 2 hour co-ed class is designed for athletes ages 10+ who have mastered advanced skill progressions, inverted skills, and multiple complex skill routines.

Freestyle Ski and Snowboard

Trampoline training is offered to improve the agility, coordination, strength and endurance necessary to safely advance Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard skills.

GO Ninjas
(5+ years old)

GO Ninjas combines gymnastics, martial arts, obstacle course training and freestyle movement to introduce kids to the exciting world of Ninja Sport.

Day Camps (PD, March Break and Summer)

Vertical Zone offers a number of different Day Camps throughout the year. March Break Camp, Winter Holiday Camp, Summer Camps and PA Day Camps.

COMPETITIVE

Interclub Stream

An introduction to competitive trampoline, training once or twice per week. Athletes will learn skills and routines and have the opportunity to attend Interclub competitions.

Provincial Stream

The provincial program is set by Gymnastics Canada, ranging from levels 1-4. This program is for athletes to excel in competition, achieve provincial qualifying scores and build toward the national categories.

National Stream

Athletes who achieve the Provincial level 4 mobility requirements of Gymnastics Canada will focus on performance at the national level.
